Fellowship of Christian Students
The purpose of FCS is to impact our campus for Christ and share the love of Christ with all. The Jena Junior High FCS motto is "Preach the Gospel All the Time - if necessary use words" (St. Francis Assisi.)
The JJHS chapter of FCS organizes each year a prayer rally to begin the school year (See You at the Pole.) We visit our local nursing homes during the year, participate in the Christmas Shoe Box Ministry, and invite speakers to share their testimonies with our members.
FCS is open to any student who wishes to join.

"Beginning to End"
They give us discipline,
Often what we need.
They stood up for this school,
And for what they believe.
They were always there,
And we are sad to see them go.
They are respected and appreciated.
Probably more than they know.
They are part of this school.
They have watched this place grow.
So now we plant these roses,
In memory of all they've done.
And just like when they started,
This plant will someday be more than a bud.

This poem is dedicated to Mrs. Nelda Tarver & Mrs. Sylvia Norris by the JJHS FCS. Two rose bushes were planted in the JJHS Memory Garden in honor of these two faculty members leaving JJHS.
